I’m pretty excited. I, however, am very much an Austen fan. It looks pretty interesting, though. Hope it doesn’t end up being too fluffy or a remake of Clueless.

Back in Action

After taking a bit of a vacation, I’m back in action.

So many things happened in the book world while I was away. Among them:

or so it seems. The jury is still out on whether they can kill the book. First, it takes longer to read a book on an eReader. Secondly, licensing and multi-million dollar deals may limit eBook activity.

Note: I decided I was just going to stick to films coming out in theaters because looking at the TV schedule was too time consuming. I figure most people can tell if a movie has been adapted from a book on TV. I will, however, still keep an eye out for big Masterpiece-y adaptations….
